Meet the Teacher

Siobhan Gallagher, T.C.R.G.

Hi Everyone! And thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. I grew up in Bucks County, PA, where I began Irish dancing at the age of 4. My mother and aunts began the Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance in 1994. I quickly became involved both as a student and a teacher. Over the years I had additional instruction from Christina Ryan, A.D.C.R.G., Maureen O’Grady, T.C.R.G. Margaret Fitzpatrick Guenther, T.C.R.G, Maureen Berry, T.C.R.G. and Paula McManus from Riverdance. After many years of studying,  I earned my Irish Dance Teacher certification (T.C.R.G.) in 2013 and became a registered teacher with An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha, (C.L.R.G.) in Dublin, Ireland.

Additionally, I have a bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University of PA in Elementary and Special Education and a Masters Degree from Edinboro University of PA in Education with a Reading Specialist Certificate. I taught in PA school districts for 7 years as a 2nd grade teacher (2 years), K-3 Special Education teacher (3 years), and Reading Specialist/ Student Support Team Coordinator (2 years).

In 2017, I married the love of my life, Johnny, a Pittsburgh Firefighter and Irish singer! I moved to Pittsburgh, and quickly had three beautiful children.

Throughout my time away from Bucks County, in college and after, I continued to run the Sellersville Branch of the Fitzpatrick School with my mother, Kathy, until May 2022.

I am so very excited to open a new school here in Pittsburgh and look forward to building a wonderful new community and meeting many new dancers and families!
